Any custom anodized piece is considered final sale unless the piece is defective caused by manufacturing. Metal Mafia strictly uses Borosilicate glass that is hand made in the USA. Borosilicate Glass is scratch resistant but still fragile and should be treated as such. All glass is guaranteed to arrive to your shop scratch and breakage free. We will pair and box in a foam insulated display box free of charge. Borosilicate glass is autoclavable. Do not use harsh chemicals on any jewelry. Do not wear in the shower or while swimming. Wash with antibacterial soap, but take caution while removing; glass will break if dropped on tile or cement.

Novelty navel jewelry is not intended for initial piercings and should only be used in healed piercings as it should not be sterilized with harsh chemicals. Shaft and top ball are made with 316L steel. The bottom gem setting and dangle are cast from lead and nickel free brass or zinc and then plated with either 24k gold, rhodium, 14K rose gold, and/or epoxy paint. All plating materials are lead, cadmium and nickel free.

Metallic plating can tarnish depending on the environment it is kept in but tarnish remover can be used to clean and remove tarnish from jewelry. Unfortunately plating will wear off after a while but here are some recommendations you can take to make it last as long as possible!
